Kansas State Fair 2018 kicks off

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Kansas State Fair got underway Friday in Hutchinson.

The 10-day event started out cloudy, but the weather didn't keep many people away.

From exhibits, to fried food and a cow sculpture made out of butter, there is plenty to see.

Saturday will feature a candidate stump speeches, starting at 10 A.M., with each candidate getting 20 minutes to talk.
