WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

A 10-year-old Wichita girl is trying to raise awareness about Epilepsy.
Clara Seiler created 1-In-26 because she is one of millions of people who deal with sudden epileptic seizures.
To make matters worse her epilepsy is intractable, meaning most drugs and treatment fail to control the disorder, which Clara says can be scary.

It"s very scary cause, when you go into a seizure you kind of don't know whats going on and your shaking and it's uncomfortable."

Clara and her mom have started a group to raise awareness and money through the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas.

"We just want to raise awareness and let people know you can be a normal kid just like Clara and have Epilepsy, " said Clara's mom, Jessica Seiler.
