3 hurt in rollover crash near Andover

ANDOVER, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say three people were hurt, two of them critically, when two pickups collided on a rural road near Andover. 

The crash happened just before 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harry and SW Meadowlark Road. Video from the scene showed one vehicle upside down and another on its side.

According to the Butler County Sheriff's Office, the driver of a southbound Chevy pickup stopped at a stop sign and reportedly didn't see the westbound Dodge truck before driving into the intersection. 

The 39-year-old man driving the Dodge and an 18-year-old passenger in the Chevy were ejected and suffered critical injuries. The 29-year-old man driving the Chevy was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge is from Augusta, the driver of the Chevy is from Derby and his passenger is from Belle Plaine. No names were released.
