The final round of the 2018 Wichita Open ended in thrilling fashion. A three-way tie led to a two-hole playoff where Nebraska-native Brady Schnell came away with the eventual victory.
Schnell opened tournament play with a 2-over-par scorecard, but redeemed the rough start with back-to-back six-under-par rounds.
Schnell's win came with a check for $112,500 and pushes him a step closer to a spot on the PGA Tour.
The 33-year-old will play in The British Open beginning July 19th.
