One of the women burned at a North Wichita restaurant dies

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

One of the women severely burned at a north Wichita restaurant has died.

Rosa Martinez-Reyes was burned early last month at her restaurant Los Reyes restaurant near 21st and North Waco. 

Her family shared the news on the restaurant's Facebook page.

Officer saves woman from burning restaurant in north Wichita

Police say an officer was driving by the restaurant when he saw a woman on fire who was running out of the building. After he helped her, she told the officer her sister was inside. That's when the officer broke into the business and rescued her sister, Aurora Martinez-Perez.

Martinez-Perez remains at the hospital in critical condition.
