K-State beats Wichita State 7-3

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Kansas State Wildcats (21-30) beat Wichita State (32-18-1) 7-3 in the Shockers' home finale on Tuesday night.

K-State starter Justin Heskett pitched a complete game allowing just six hits and striking out four Shocker batters.

Wichita State took a three nothing lead in the third inning, but K-State roared back to take the lead once and for all in the fourth.

The Shockers wrap up their regular season May 17-19 at Memphis before the American Athletic Conference Tournament, which is May 22-27 in Clearwater, Fla.

The Wildcats  wrap up their regular season at San Francisco May 17-19.
