Police searching for suspect in 2012 homicide case

The Wichita police department is asking the public for help in a 2012 homicide case.

On August 4, 2012 police discovered a man inside a home near the 800 block of S. Erie. The victim, Pheng Xiong was found dead inside the home with his throat cut.

Upon further investigation, police charged Rathanak Chea with first degree murder. 

Police believe that Chea has now left Wichita and they are asking the public for help in finding him.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
