Wichita police: Homeless man tied to pole, beaten

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police say four people were arrested for allegedly tying a 19-year-old homeless man to a pole and hitting him. 

The four were arrested Friday afternoon in the 100 block of North Emporia, booking records show. The incident happened that morning in the 1100 block of North St. Francis. 

Timothy Larson, 20, and Shelby Saxton, 18, were jailed on $100,000 bond for aggravated kidnapping and battery. Vance Halsey, 20, was booked for aggravated kidnapping and was also held on $100,000. The fourth person, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested for aggravated kidnapping and battery. 

Police say the victim suffered minor injuries and that he and the suspects are known to each other.
