WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Police say a man and three teenagers were arrested following a home invasion in Wichita early Friday morning.

It happened at around 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Dora, near May and Seneca. Officer Paul Cruz said a neighbor saw four people enter the home through the back door and a window.

Officers arrived, surrounded the home and contacted the 40-year-old woman who lives there. She told police there were four armed intruders in her home who demanded property, money and drugs.

A 29-year-old man ran from the home when officers got there, but he was apprehended by a K9. The three teenagers, an 18-year-old and two 13-year-olds, exited the home and were taken into custody without incident.

"As far as the weapon, we know it was a rifle," Cruz said.

He said the four were booked for aggravated residential robbery and weapons violations. No names were released.
