NCAA teams arrive in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

You may have noticed banners and signs all over the city welcoming visitors and teams into Wichita and the city couldn’t be more excited for the games to get started.

Open practice starts at Intrust Bank Arena Wednesday afternoon.

Some of the teams arrived just a few short hours ago. Michigan, Penn and Seton Hall were greeted at Yingling Aviation.

Penn flew in shortly after 8 p.m., followed by Seton Hall and Michigan.

The teams flew in with their staff members, cheer leaders and the band.

You can come watch the teams practice, live, for free!

All eight teams will practice for about 40 minutes each tomorrow at Intrust Bank Arena

Doors will open at 10 a.m. and the practices go on from 11 a.m. to 6.

  • North Carolina State- 11:45 a.m.
  • University of Kansas- 12:30 p.m.
  • Seton Hall- 1:15 p.m.
  • Houston- 3:25 p.m.
  • Michigan- 4:10 p.m.
  • San Diego State- 4:55 p.m.
