The Sedgwick County sheriff says a 29-year-old deputy has been placed on leave after he was arrested for domestic battery Monday evening.

Sheriff Jeff Easter said during a news conference that Deputy Vincent Folston was off-duty when he was arrested at his home in the 200 block of South Belmont. The arrest followed an investigation into a disturbance there.
