WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

A student has been arrested after making threats on social media toward students at Stucky Middle School.

Parents were notified by email by the principal, Leslianne Craft, of the threat.

"We immediately investigated and found the student responsible who is now facing disciplinary action" Craft said.

The name of the 13-year-old student was not released and he was being held at the Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center.

No injuries were reported.

Craft urged parents to "continue to tell your students to think carefully about what they post on social media."

Classes will run as scheduled on Thursday.
