HAYS, Kan. (KAKE) -

A Hays woman is looking for the owner of a wedding dress that strong winds blew into her yard on Tuesday.

Alvera Reichert told the Hays Post reports she noticed the dress in her yard at around 1 p.m. She lives in the 2600 block of Augusta Lane.

“I didn’t catch the wedding bouquet,” she told the Post. “I got something better.”

Wildfires scorch over 25,000 acres in Kansas

The dress and veil are in a preservation, and Reichert is hoping to reunite the dress with its owner. If you or someone you know is missing a wedding dress, call Reichert at (785) 301-2732.
