Kansas man arrested for rape, child sex crimes

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KAKE) -

Police have arrested a 50-year-old Kansas man on suspicion of rape and numerous child sex crimes.

Lonnie Gallauger, of Manhattan, was arrested late Monday afternoon in the 3000 block of Brookville Drive. Police said he was booked into the Riley County Jail for three counts of rape, seven counts of electronic solicitation, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, seven counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child and one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Authorities have not released details of the alleged crimes or what led to Gallauger's arrest.

Gallauger was held on $200,000 bond Tuesday.
