Shocker baseball completes home opening sweep

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita State baseball improved to 6-0 on the season with a sweep of Omaha in its home-opening series.

The Shockers held on for a 4-3 win Saturday before taking game one of a double header Sunday 3-0.

In game three, Greyson Jenista and Alec Bohm notched back-to-back home runs as part of a 5-run 5th to help clinch the series sweep. Bohm's solo shot extended a hitting streak to 8 straight.

The Shockers will host another team from the North in Nebraska next weekend, Mar. 2-4 for a three-game series.
