Man who shot Pratt store clerk returned to Mississippi

A man arrested in Kansas and accused in a multi-state crime spree has been returned to Mississippi.  Alex Deaton is charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend.

Deaton, 29,  pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the shooting of a Pratt convenience store clerk.   Deaton admitted to shooting Riley Juel and stealing Juel's car.  He was arrested in Ellsworth County March 1st.

Deaton is also accused in two shootings in New Mexico.
