PRATT, Kan. (KAKE) -

Investigators say the cause of a house fire that killed a Pratt mother and her four children last month remains undetermined.

The fire on January 25 killed Reece, Timmy, River and Harley Wheatley. Their mother, Charee, died two days later at a Wichita hospital.

The Kansas fire marshal's office said its investigative division is still awaiting lab results before making an official determination. But the Pratt Tribune reports the local fire chief ruled the fire accidental.

The family was trapped in the basement when the fire broke out in the 200 block of Austin Street. Their funerals were held Wednesday.
