Police investigate attempted credit union robbery

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita Police are investigating the report of an attempted robbery at a local credit union.  Police said the robbery was reported at Mid American Credit Union, 804 S. Oliver, at 9:20 a.m. 

A female employee reported an unknown person entered the building wearing all black and a white ski mask.  Police said the suspect saw an armed security guard, and ran.   He was seen getting into a silver, newer model 2-door sports car.
