Man arrested in Wichita fast-food robberies

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection to robberies at two fast-food restaurants.

Officer Charley Davidson said in a news release Tuesday afternoon that the suspect was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail for two counts of robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia and an aggravated weapons violation. 

He is accused of robbing the Burger King near Central and Tyler on Friday evening and the Taco Bell at 21st and Ridge on Saturday evening. In both robberies, the suspect handed an employee a note demanding money.

The suspect's name was not released.
