RESCUE opens at Exploration Place

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Exploration Place unveiled a new traveling exhibit called Rescue. The interactive exhibit is all about how emergency personnel save lives. Throughout the exhibit you’ll find things like a water rescue simulator, a rescue helicopter, a climbing wall, a tree rescue demonstration, interactive fire extinguishers, and even jet skis!

Christina Bluml, Director of Marketing at the Exploration Place, says that the purpose of the exhibit is to try to spark imagination.

“With Rescue were hoping maybe the kids will think about being a firefighter, or police officer, or a sheriff, or anyone that has a life saving roll. If we can get the kids interested in those careers, we’ve done well,” Bluml said.

The exhibit will be open from January 20th through May 6th.
