Authorities search for Oklahoma rape suspect

The Canadian County Sheriff's Office is investigating rape and kidnapping claims made by a 17-year-old girl in mid-December, officials announced Thursday.

Deputies reported shortly before 8:25 p.m. Dec. 18th a man called the Sheriff's Office about a young woman who came to his home near Hefner and Gregory roads and said she had been abducted and raped.

The victim told authorities that she was walking to work around 3 p.m. near Southwest 23rd Street and Robinson Avenue when a man she did not know offered her a ride. Instead, the suspect told the victim he intended to have sex with her and that he would kill her if she tried to get away. Investigators say the suspect made several attempts to assault the teen for several hours. Roughly, three hours later the teen was able to escape and called police.

The suspect is described as a 21-year-old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs between 140 and 150 pounds and has brown eyes and a mohawk hairstyle. Investigators say he is also  left-handed and has a large tattoo of an owl on the inside of his left arm from his elbow to his wrist. The victim told deputies that the man spoke with a Chinese accent and a lisp.

Sheriff's Office officials said the man was last seen driving a late-model silver Subaru or Nissan sedan with a black interior and a Bob Moore tag on the front. The victim reported that the man had recently moved from Wichita, Kansas, to Oklahoma City and had lived in the Yukon area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Canadian County Sheriff's Office at 405-262-3434.
