Sheriff's office identifies body found in Rice County

RICE COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities in Rice County continue investigating the death of a 42-year-old man whose body was found in a wooded area late last month.

The body of Dennis Galliart Jr., was found on December 22 about five miles east of Sterling. He was from Reno County. 

A cause of death has yet to be determined.

The Kansas Department and KBI are assisting the Rice County Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
