A group of Kansas tree trimmers stationed in Puerto Rico are helping some needy children in the U.S. territory.

The island of Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria. A group of workers from Wright Tree Service who usually would be in Wichita, Kansas are now in Puerto Rico assisting.

Some of the workers gathered some money and went to a Puerto Rican Wal-Mart to buy presents for needy children during the holiday.

Mark Nichols of Wright Tree Service shared photos with KAKE News of some of the donations.
