Tenn runaway, man wanted for questioning found in Cowley County

WINFIELD, Kan. (KAKE) -

The sheriff in Cowley County says a man wanted for questioning and a teen runaway from Texas have been found. 

Sheriff David Falletti said Monday that Caleb Calverly and Kara Hurst were located with the assistance of the Winfield Police Department. He did not provided additional details.

The case remains under investigation.

Cowley County authorities are asking for the public's help finding a teenager reported as a runaway from Texas. 

The Cowley County Sheriff said a car driven by Caleb Calverly ran into a fence and hit a property owner Sunday. The property owner wasn't hurt. 

Kara Hurst, a 15-year-old reported as a runaway from Texas, was a passenger in the car, which was found in Winfield.

The car was found in Winfield.  Calverly and Hurst were last seen walking in the area.

Calverly is 18 years old, stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 232 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
