Law firm offers safe rides

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KAKE) -

The weekend after Thanksgiving Bretz & Young Injury Law started offering an on call service to provide free rides to those who may have had too much to drink.

Bretz and Young have been working injury cases in Hutchinson for 20 years and the attorneys  said they've seen far too many cases involving impaired drivers.

They said they chose to provide the ride service this time of year because they feel like many people will attending holiday parties and gatherings throughout the holidays.

A team of drivers will pick up the person needing a ride. One driver will drive the vehicle belonging to the customer, while the other driver will follow in their vehicle.

The service will be offered on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. in Hutchinson until the beginning of the new year. A ride can be requested by calling or texting (620) 899-8368.
