Inmate found unresponsive at Cowley County Jail

The Cowley County Sheriff's Office says an inmate at the Cowley County Jail was found unresponsive just after 7:00 Wednesday night.

He has been identified as 33-year-old Jesse Crable of Winfield.

An autopsy scheduled for Thursday will provide additional information, and we will have updates as we know more.

    One man is dead after an accident in Rush County Saturday morning. Alan Stiles was headed west on KS-4, just over six miles east of La Crosse when the vehicle drifted on to the shoulder.
