Wichita police search for suspects in armed robbery at Dollar General

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police are searching for two suspects in connection to an armed robbery at a Dollar General store.

Officers were called at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to the report of a robbery at the Dollar General at 9:15 South Glendale, near Lincoln and Oliver. A 26-year-old employee told police that two suspects--one armed with a handgun--entered the business and demanded money. 

The suspects left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt.

Officer Charley Davidson descried the first suspect as a black man in his 30s. He stands about 5-foot-8 and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He wore a gray hoodie, black pants and had his hair in braids. 

The second suspect is a black woman in her 20s. She stands 5-foot-5 and weighs about 220 pounds. She wore a black hoodie and black pants.
