Man hit by car in Wichita Dillons parking lot, suffers critical injuries

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police say a 78-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in a Dillons grocery store parking lot. 

The incident happened at around 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Dillons at Harry and Webb Road. Officer Charley Davidson said a 29-year-old woman had just finished shopping and was leaving the Dillons when her car struck a man walking near the gas pumps.

The man was rushed to a local hospital where he remained in critical condition Wednesday morning. 

Police are still investigating. No names were released.
