Former state lawmaker O'Malley enters Governor's race

A man who was elected to the Kansas House wants to return to Topeka, as Governor.   Ed O'Malley kicked off his campaign for Governor with a series of stops around the state today. 

O'Malley was elected to three terms in the House,  representing Johnson County.   The republican started the Kansas Leadership Center in 2007.  

O'Malley says his campaign will center on three ideas;  creating a public education system to fuel the economy, creating an efficient, creative workforce inside government and providing leadership that brings people together.  

O'Malley has campaign stops planned for Beloit, Dodge City and Garden City Thursday.
