SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Salina police have arrested an 18-year-old college student for allegedly raping two fellow students at Kansas Wesleyan University.

Terrance Williams, of Garland, Texas, is accused of assaulting two 18-year-old female students since classes began in August. The Salina Post reports the victims told police that the three encounters happened at the university's dorms.

Williams was arrested for three counts of rape and one count each of sexual battery and criminal restraint. The Post report he is a member of the school's football team.

A Kansas Wesleyan University spokesperson said, “We can confirm that this young man is a current student. He is suspended from the football team pending the investigation. Because this is an ongoing police investigation, we can’t comment any further.”
