Motorcyclist killed in northern Kansas crash

CLAY CENTER, Kan. (KAKE) -

A motorcyclist was killed when he was struck by a car.  The crash happened Monday morning two miles south of Clay Center.

Kansas Highway Patrol troopers said the motorcycle was trying to pass a southbound semi in a no passing zone on Kansas Highway 15.   The motorcycle rider laid his Harley Davidson down in the northbound lane where he was struck by a car.  

Killed was Scott Curtis, 43, of Auburn, Nebraska.   The driver of the car was not hurt.
