WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

For the 14th straight year the Wichita State men's basketball attendance topped the 10,000 mark. That ranks 34th nationally, their highest ranking since the 1983-84 season.

Last year's squad averaged 10,738 fans for their 17 home games. They also sold out 13 of their 16 games at Charles Koch Arena while drawing a capacity crowd of 15,004 at their game against Oklahoma State at INTRUST Bank Arena last December.

They also led the Missouri Valley Conference and had better attendance than any of the American Athletic Conference teams last season.

The Kansas Jayhawks rank 8th with an average 16,395 attendance last season. K-State ranks 29th with an average of 11,477 fans.
