Wichita police hope you can help catch an armed robber who held up a convenience store on Independence Day.

The Kwik Shop on South Oliver was robbed around 1:30 a.m. Police say the suspect held up the clerk at gunpoint. Police are getting tips on the crime, but need more information.

"What we're asking that if anyone has any information something specific - not just a name," Detective Wendy Hummell said. "Sometimes they have a lot of money. They want to talk about what they've done. They might want to brag."

If you have any information about this robbery you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111. You'll be eligible for a cash reward.
