PARK CITY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Nico Hernandez won his second professional fight Saturday night at Hartman Arena in front of his home crowd by knockout in the third round.

Hernandez says he was out to prove a point after his opponent, Jose Rodriguez, said he would knock him out in interviews leading up to the bout.

The fight got off to a late start after storms caused broadcast interruptions.

The Olympic bronze medalist is now 2-0 with 2 KO's in his professional career.
