YMCA offers 'Late-night' at the Y for teens

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Greater Wichita YMCA is offering local youths an alternative place to hang Saturday's this summer. 

"Teen Late Night" is offered every Saturday beginning today from 8:30 to 11:30 pm at the South YMCA, 3405 S Meridian Ave, Wichita.

After the Y closes for business, it will reopen for a night of exciting activities just for high school students. Lots of fun for you and your friends like swimming, basketball, Zumba, dance party, snacks and more. The event is free to all participants. Y Membership not required. 

Photo I.D. is required for entry. 

Participants must arrange transportation to and from Teen Late Nite. All activities stop at 11:20pm and you must be picked up by no by later than 11:45pm. Failure to do so may result in a temporary suspension. Doors are locked at 11:45pm.

The YMCA partnered with the Wichita Police Department to make the event happen.
