WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police and Crime Stoppers are asking your help after thieves steal thousands of dollars worth of ATVs from a Wichita dealer.

It happened about 2:30 a.m. Monday, May 15 at Straub International near Pawnee and West Streets. Surveillance cameras caught the white minivan pulling up outside the business.

"It's a small local business," said Det. Wendy Hummell of the Wichita Police Department. "It obviously affects them significantly -- an expensive piece of equipment, and it's their livelihood.

And the folks at Straub say it may be becoming a trend. They say just recently someone stole a blue and lime green Polaris as well.

Out came several people inside the van to cut the fence and gain entry to the business grounds.

Before they left, the thieves made off with a 2015 black, gray, white and red Polaris RAXR worth about $15,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. You don't have to give your name and you could be eligible for a $2,500 reward.
