Wichita Police Department unveils new blue uniforms

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Wichita Police Department announced Thursday that the force will transition to new navy blue uniforms. 

Capt. Brian White said the uniforms will be rolled out over the next two years. Some officers will continue wearing the traditional tan uniforms until the transition is complete by March 31, 2019.
