Teenager arrested for Coffeyville school threat

COFFEYVILLE, Kan (KAKE) -

A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a threat against a Coffeyville high school.

A Field Kindley High School student reported to administrators that he had been told by another student that he was threatening to "shoot up" the school on Thursday, April 20.

After interviewing students, police took the 17-year-old in custody.  Police will recommend a charge of criminal threat to prosecutors.

Coffeyville police Captain Danny Grigg said he doesn't believe any other students are involved.
