Cooking with KAKE: Steak Tartare

Scotch & Sirloin’s Steak Tartare Recipe

  • One 6oz. Sterling Silver Filet Mignon (Diced very thinly)
  • One Egg
  • 3 tbsp., capers, rinsed, drained and minced
  • 1 tsp on minced garlic
  • 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp of minced shallots
  • 2 anchovy filets
  • Kosher Salt and Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1 ½ tbsp. Whole Grain Mustard
  • 1/2 Tsp of lemon, lime and orange zest
  • Baguette crisp as needed
  • Fried capers as needed
  • Diced red onion as needed
