West Wichita Rib Crib raising money for Passageways

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

All this week, KAKE News is focusing on veterans. Now one restaurant in west Wichita is stepping up to show its appreciation.

The Rib Crib on south Ridge Road near Maple is donating 10 percent of its sales from Friday to Sunday to Passageways, a shelter for homeless veterans we highlighted earlier this week. All you have to do is show up, eat some amazing barbecue and 10 percent goes to Passageways.

"It means the world for us. The veterans have always helped us every which way to make our country great, so we are more than happy to help," said Chris Parks, General Manager of Rib Crib

If you can't make it to Rib Crib this weekend, don't worry. They will have a donation point at the restaurant throughout February.
