Crime Stoppers: Security cam captures Wichita bank robbery

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police and Crime Stoppers are hoping terrifying moment, caught on security camera, can help solve a May 7 robbery at a Wichita bank.

The video captured two men with their faces covered flashing guns, rushing into the Intrust Bank at Central and Rock.

One of the robbers jumped the counter, pushing tellers and demanding they empty the cash drawers into his bag. He then demands entry to the safe.

Another angle shows the second robber ordering two customers to the floor at gunpoint. In addition to the money, the man stole a customer's purse.

The unknown suspects fled the scene on foot, jumping a wall into a nearby apartment complex.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111. You could be eligible for a $2,500 reward.
