KAKE-TV and KAKE.com, the ABC station in Wichita, Kansas is looking for the right Meteorologist for our First Alert Weather Team. We have most accurate forecasters in the market. We also live by the motto that covering Severe Weather is like covering “Breaking News on Steroids”. You must be ready to do it right and do it the best. You must have severe weather experience; hands on experience running radar, storm track and street-level mapping. You must also know how to forecast Disruptive Weather. You will use Weather Central Fusion products, ESP Live and Baron Vipir HD radar.

The right person will have a College Degree in Meteorology, AMS, CBM, or the qualifications to obtain, and at least 3 years of experience on air.
