Meteorologist Tanner Swift joined the KAKEland WeatherPlex in July 2006.
Before coming to KAKE, he was the weekday morning meteorologist for KSWO in Lawton, Oklahoma for two and a half years.
A native Kansan, Tanner is from Benton in Butler County. He attended Wichita State University while earning his degree in geosciences with emphasis in broadcast meteorology.
In his free time (if he has any), Tanner enjoys hunting, fishing, and, of course, storm chasing.
Tanner, his wife Tara, and two children live “back home” in Benton.
