Chris Frye is a Sports Anchor/Reporter of the KAKE Sports Team. He joined KAKE in April 2009. Along with his anchoring duties on KAKE News at 6 and 10, Monday thru Friday, Chris is also host of KAKE Sports Overtime Live, Sunday nights at 10:35 PM.
Before coming to KAKEland, Chris was weekend sports anchor/reporter for WKRG-TV in Mobile, AL for nearly 2 years. Prior to Mobile, he also had stops at WREX-TV in Rockford, IL and KARK-TV in Little Rock, AR.
Chris is a proud native of Arkansas, graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with a B.A. in Mass Communications in 2001. And although he has a deep love for his Central Arkansas Bears, most of the time you'll find Chris rooting for his 2nd team.... the Arkansas Razorbacks.
When Chris is not reporting on sports, he enjoys watching sports, working out and spending time with his wife, Natasha and his two sons, Harrison and Hayden.
