Chris Frye is the newest member of the KAKE Sports Team joining in April 2009. As a sports anchor/reporter, he can be seen every weekend on KAKE News as well as host of KAKE Sports Overtime Live, Sunday nights at 10:35 PM.
Before coming to KAKEland, Chris was weekend sports anchor/reporter for WKRG-TV in Mobile, AL for nearly 2 years. Prior to Mobile, he also had stops at WREX-TV in Rockford, IL and KARK-TV in Little Rock, AR.
Chris is a native of Arkansas, graduating from the University of Central Arkansas. And although he has a deep love for his UCA Bears, most of the time you'll find Chris rooting for his beloved, Arkansas Razorbacks.
When Chris is not reporting on sports, he enjoys watching sports, working out and spending time with family and friends.
