Jennifer joined the KAKE News team as a reporter in December of 2001. A local politics junkie, Jennifer spends most of her time at work in downtown Wichita covering the city council and county commission beat.
Before coming to Kansas, Jennifer worked as a reporter at KJCT in Grand Junction, Colorado. Up until then Jennifer was a lifelong east coaster. She earned her degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Maryland. In 2000 she won a SPJ award for a report on abused horses. In 2006 Jennifer was Emmy nominated for her live reporting on wild fires during the 11:30 newscast.
While not at work, Jennifer is an avid reader, she loves playing the piano, and she can't live without her dog, Noodle, and cats, Lola and Nina.
