Deb Farris co-anchors KAKE News at 4 with Jeff Herndon and reports for KAKE News. She has covered everything from the BTK trial to the Greensburg tornado. In 1990, Deb traveled to Saudi Arabia to cover the first Gulf Crisis. She has earned an Emmy for her work on KAKE News at 4, along with two regional Edward R. Murrow awards. Deb has also received numerous Kansas Broadcasting Association Awards for her investigating reporting.

Deb graduated from Pratt High School and earned her degree from Fort Hays State University. Before coming to KAKE in 1992, Deb was the weekend anchor and producer at KSNT in Topeka.

In her spare time, Deb enjoys spending time with her children, Josie and Jake, reading, working out and shopping!
