Parrish Alleman joined the KAKE news team in January 2012.

Parrish comes to the Mid-West from South Texas, where she reported for KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi for two years. Before her time in Texas, Parrish got her start in news at WVUA in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Parrish was actually born in Wichita, while her family was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base. She doesn't remember much about the Sunflower state though, because her family packed up and moved overseas to Turkey just a year later. A true military brat, Parrish moved around several more times before settling down for a few years in Alabama. She is proud to be an alumni of the University of Alabama, Roll Tide!

Parrish is excited to live in Kansas for the second time around, and looks forward to exploring, meeting new people, and getting involved in the community.
