Lily joined the KAKE news team in September 2010 and enjoys being a reporter for KAKEland viewers.
She is a long-time Wichita resident and obtained much of her education in Kansas. She graduated from Wichita East High School's International Baccalaureate Program in 2003 and received the Gore Scholarship to attend Wichita State University.
In 2007, she earned the distinction of Summa Cum Laude and graduated with two bachelor's degrees in International Business and Integrated Marketing Communications and minors in Marketing and Spanish.
That same year, she received the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship and studied at the University of Hong Kong, where she completed her Master's in Journalism.
Lily is active in the community as the charter president of the Rotaract Club of Wichita, a service group for young professionals. She is a board member for the Wichita Orpheum and the Wichita Asian Association. Lily co-organizes the Miss Asian Festival Scholarship Pageant and is an emcee for the annual Wichita Asian Festival event. She also serves as the Kids for the Cure co-chair for the Mid-Kansas Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
