If the state of Kansas was really serious about cutting spending they would cut out these district courts in smaller counties like Wallace. They pay a magistrate there 60,000 dollars a year for about 10 court cases each year.They also have two clerks working most days. This is a lot of money for little in return. The state needs to wake up and close these little courts that have nothing to do and spend the money on the schools.
