Before the state raises taxes they need to do something with these district courts. The district court in Wallace county employs three people and the judge makes $60,000 a year for only doing about ten cases. State employees get paid about double of those in the private sector. Before the state raises my taxes they better do something with the waste in these district courts.

That's easy for people to say that are not employees of the State. My department is already so short on staff that we barely get by day to day. We have people that have numerous jobs they do and can barely handle it anymore. They don't get paid any extra for the extra jobs they do. We don't get raises nor do we get bonuses or gifts. So before you say cut more spending, stop and think of our families that may be out on the streets soon.

Why don't they following manufacturing's lead and outsource. Like, India on Line, aka America on Line), they could hire someone from a third world nation at half the cost. Maybe then we could all get refunds.

Wrong. Cut spending. Lots of places to cut. No places to raise taxes.

Uh, no tax increase. All of us are learning to live within our means, and its time for the government to learn that. Many programs are just too fat anyway. I know, its gonna hurt a bit, but we need to just learn to live within our budget and if that means cutting services, salaries, and positions, so be it. Anyone asking for new taxes will surely get hammered in the next election...keep that in mind Gov.

why cant the government try to control expences? I have to, my income dosnt go up when the ecomomy goes down. why keep increasing taxes just to keep the inflated over cost agencies and such going at their normal extravagant cost?
